Footwell lights working at all times? |
|
Hello everyone!
Just to start things off, i have to say all you guys are doing a great job with the site, my hat is off to you.
Stupid or not, here i go: i was wordering if there is any way i can keep the footwell lights on while driving, without the dome lights on.
I smoke 2 packs a day, and there is any flaw in the Discovery 3 design, it has to be the fact that the ashtray has no lighting directed to it (dont mention the LED in the ceiling: it's 4 feet above, doesnt really work...)
Also, the footwell lighting looks nice at night, makes the interior cozier.
Thanks!
Mihai
BTW, i drive a LHD Discovery 3 TDV6 SE 2006, Automatic. Discovery 3, 12/2006, SE, AUTO

Thinking of a 5pin relay with a feed from the exterior lights, when the ext light are on, the relay is powered and feeds the footwell lights, when lights are off (by switch or ingition key) the relay is unpowered allowing the normal interior feed to be applied.
