Hi All
We've owned a 55 plate D3 for 3 months now. Absolutely love it. Does everything we've asked of it with ease.
4th Daughter due in a few weeks so needed something with seating for all of us and pushchair space. It's perfect.
Particularly enjoyed it this week, leaving the house and driving up our road in the snow without a hint of trouble. The neighbours are very jealous
Great site - I've already used it as a guest to answer a few questions.
Cheers
Dan.

Hi Martin,
I joined the forum recently albeit in some panic to get some technical info, which was great. Now browsing your extensive pool of knowledge to fix yet another winter related problem but such a joy to find the info and comments from everyone.
Who am I? One who loves LRs and owned various models over the past 20 years. This love goes hand in hand with with other hobby which is over-landing. so far it has been all in my Defenders and recently a trip to Algeria in my RRC.
Now, everyone knows what a capable vehicle the D3 is. I am here to learn about the vehicle as much as possible (i.e all the electronics and sensors) and then take it for a trip somewhere, so the length of Portugal this year 2012 first before venturing anywhere too remote.
I am also the Chairman of G4 Owners Club, and currently with an 08 G4 D3. Emon

| Cold start problem after 6 years of ownership |
|
Hi New member after reviewing useful hints off a Google search.
Is it just me, who has a love hate relationship with the Disco, its great all year until cold weather comes and when you need the 4x4 it plays up. I had the failed glow plug shear in the head (cost me £2k) last winter, now I am having the poor start <0 degree issue. Widely discussed on many LR and BMW sites, therefore, it amazes me how suprised the so called experts are when its reported.
Anyway I will find a suitable thread and pick up the story there (as the Google one said battery issue, but I put a new beefy one on last year). Anyway warm weather back so I will not know whether anything I do fixes until next cold spell.
Good luck all
Regards

Hi All
My name is Stu, just in process of getting my first D3, cant wait!
Interior seats looking a little tatty, thinking about upgrading from cloth to leather, can anyone suggest any ideas of how to go about this.
Anyone had any experience of doing this or recommend any interior trim companies or salvage yards that may be able to help me with this.
look forward to your comments
Cheers
Stu

Hello all,
I just signed up to this forum and FullFatRR as, being a disgruntled Toerag owner, I've seen the light and am looking to change to either a Discovery or a Range Rover. Undecided as to which though, so hopefully trawling these forums (Fora?) wll help!
