Well if you argue with one of these.

Glad everyone got out of that unscathed (well physically ayways) - thank they were in a Disco, doesn't bear think what could have happened if they'd been in something less substantial.
Not wanting to seem cold and insensitive here, but I'm having great difficulty finding a lower seat chassis for the rh/outer 2nd row seat, any chance of rescuing it This is the part
Before anyone asks, I've tried countless breakers and they only want to sell fire damaged crap or the set of seats as a whole and LR have had this part on back order for 2+ months now

Arrrrgh, don't let them have it. If it's a write off, buy it back. You'd get it for around a grand. The chassis would be a CAT A write off (got to be crushed), but the parts are fair game!!!!
I wrote off my 200SX with a lamp post sideways and managed to keep the car for £275. The engine alone went for £750.
Speak to the engineers and they'll probably let you keep it.

If you look at the pics in my gallery you will see a black volvo with some of the front distorted. This was the truck that failed to give way at a crossroads and struck my friends D3 warther wuffly on the nearside (offside in France) rear quarter, causing the fairly obvious rear wheel realignment. This caused him to swing sideways and then barrel roll down the edge of a field. Luckily he was A: driving a D3 and B: there were no obstuctions, fence (except a give way sign !) or wall at the side of the road to impede his ungainly progress. We are all convinced that had he been driving a lesser vehicle there would have been some serious injuries.
