Not full adaptives - as the swivel mechanism won't be present. You'd need to have entirely different headlamp units, plus some other bits to make that happen.
Same goes for the TV - you'd need to get the TV tuner as well as some additional wiring looms.
Some of the updates that BAS is offering are simply a case of activating the software that is 1) already loaded onto the car, but not turned on and b) require no additional parts.
Timed climate, 4x4 info, locking/unlocking bleep, turning off the seat belt reminder, daylight running lights, etc. are all native on the car, but are not user selectable. BAS has the kit that can do this - even a dealer, now that IDS is so automated, might struggle to do.

So, I met up with Pete in Peterborough earlier today and in 30 odd minutes he had updated my D4 XS's software such that I now have:
- 4x4 screen on the main menu (filling in the 'hole') that's there on the standard layout
- Activated the voice command function from the steering wheel
- Chirping on locking / unlocking, which is nice
- Added the timed heater function and readied it for potential remote control thingy if I decide to add that later.
Of course, all of this is in the car already but LR decided not to enable it on this spec
May have been a quick job to update but it's pretty obvious there has been a lot of graft to create the capability to get it to that point.
Thoroughly recommended for the XS fraternity and even for the HSE brigade if you don't have the remote heater gizmo.

HI
I can give you the cruise control for defenate as an extra unless you had it from the factory.
Possibily the radio plip for the FBH, ive not tested as yet but im sure i could make it work.
Xenon headlight upgrade is also possibile.

Its a hard one to answer as the function/s is already inside the cars software so nothing is added from what is already present, and even if the plip and module were added they are the exact same landrover parts which could have been ordered to be fitted at the factory with the exception they want 1k for it lol.

Since having the updates applied by Pete to my XS, I now seem to be able to access (sometimes) the off-road navigation functionality. I wasn't really expecting this as I'd assumed it required the full premium nav system.
I haven't quite figured out how to access off-road definitively. It has come up as an option when using Voice command "Display Navigation" and surprised me a bit. I'll have a play when I have a chance and will post accurate details.
Quite fun to have, not sure I'll really have a use for it but you never know
I'm interested if there is/was somekind of key sequence already known on standard XSes that revealed this functionality (like ther is for the 4x4 screen at ignition on).

For those who have taken this offer and now have the Timed Climate activated on your nav, here is a one off second change to upgrade even further.
I have 1 kit that gives you the remote control function to turn on your FBH remotley if you have not set the timer.
See pic attached.
This is a supply only kit and can be fitted easly by your self as plug and play behind the rear panal in the boot.
The cost of the kit is £200+vat with free uk delivery.
As you see the kit comes with the Genuine module, Landrover Remote plip, Antenna and fuel cap warning sticker.

Pete,
i have the factory fit Remote Park Heater. I have no idea if it works yet as its been too warm. But, should it "vent" when I press the button if the temp is below 15 degrees (mine doesnt ) - getting to the point though, are you able to fit a GSM remote that allows me to text or phone the car to "vent" or "heat" in addition to the remote I already have ?
I have one fitted to the D3 FBH and use it all the time in the winter when I'm coming home on the train..
Thanks Duncan

Hi
The car decides to vent or heat depending on the outside temp as shown in the book, it should vent when is warmer than 15c and heat with vent when colder, it would be easy to fit a gsm by using a remote plip attached to it but im unsure how easy it would be to make it heat or vent as desired by gsm.

Ok thanks,
i though it night just be a case of getting the GSM to replicate the signal from the remote and the car then decides whether to vent or heat.
Mine definatly doesnt vent so guss i need to get it booked in for a check.
cheers
