| FBHinstallation => message for Pete (B.A.S.) |
|
Hello Pete,
Member for years to this forum, but haven't posted much, I am very interested by what I saw on your website : the new intelligent FBH controller.
Owner of a '11 MY D4 (April 2011) SDV6 HSE with the Webasto FBH installed into the hood, is this intelligent FBH controller what I need to connectt to have it working ? (I did not take the option when ordering the car).
Does it need anything or is it "plug and play" ?
Thanks,
Eric

Cactus, The FBHIC kit is only plug and play at the moment on the D3, though we have it working on the D4 some more work is still needed yet to make it plug and play on the D4.

Ok Pete. thanks for your reply.
So, I'll wait.
I have the webasto FBH installed (standard on HSE, I guess) but cannot see the "timed climate" button on the screen ... as I did not ordered the plip, I guess.
Cheers,
Eric (Cactus)

Hi
If you have the 7 daytimer on your nav screen now asits an HSE then its a good start, i hope to be finalising the plip option in the next week or two whem my test car arrives. Ill postan answer and update as soon as i can.

The towbar wireing I don't make as lamdrover only charge about £100 for it with all the needed connectors on as a plug and play kit.

Hi Pete
I am interested in having the activation of the FBH and the remote option done on my 59 plate HSE. Can you let me know how much it costs in total fitted and when do you have time to fit me in.
thanx in advance.

Hi
All prices are on the first post of the thread, booking can be generally needed to be made 3 or 4 days before you wish the work to be done. Contact by phone or email is easiest for bookings where possible.

Hi,
Microcat lists different part numbers from VIN BA511484 on for the Receiver and the Antenna Wire Assy. Is there really a difference?
Does the Wire Assy includes the Antenna (like on Petes image) or is the Antenna part of the rear side windows? The drawing in Microcat just shows a wiring, but no Antenna.
@Pete: Do you install the additional Valve LR016848 when activating the Parking Heater? Do you know what the valve is doing?
