The new Grabber AT will be available from tyre retailers in numerous sizes from the start of spring

Spring??? Evil or Very Mad I indirectly communicated with the UK importer of General tyres today, and they knew about the new tyre range, but said they were not even expecting the details and prices until October sometime. Maybe spring is indeed a more accurate estimate of when we will actually be able to get our hands on these things. I don't care about the 57 different sizes, I just want the 255/55/19 as soon as possible, and get my HSE looking like it should again! Wink
 Club 19" Grabber AT's
D3 TDV6 HSE '54 plate Maya Gold (current)
D2 TD5 ES '99 (previous)
Defender TD5 swb hard top '54 plate (previous)
Defender 300tdi swb hard top '94 (previous)

All my servicing etc (that is all the stuff I can't do myself!) done by Cambrian 4x4 Farm near Lampeter. Highly recommended.

Sorry, forgot that you may not have seen the new thread re General AT.

Take a look, this is a great tyre and even though we could not test in mud, but gave them a very extensive test on-road with no noise, also on rock, gravel and sand they performed fantastically well on both the D4 and Defender. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I have a very good feeling about this new design of tyre, so much so I more than doubled my first order less than halfway through the testing. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I truly think this tyre is better than the Pirelli ATR.

Sorry Andy. You're right I hadn't seen you're other excellent and very informative thread. I got a notification that you'd replied and just linked straight to it. It looks like a great tyre, and I'd certainly like 4 straight away (255/55/19) maybe 5 depending on price. I know you're inbox will be full so please can you put me down on your order list, cos I'm sailing very close to the wind with my current Tyres.
