- Grabbers available Sept'ish

Owner lives 5-6 houses down from me, and in passing tonight says I can get some GRABBERS with the correct Load rating for my D3 from September, would this be true????

Tried looking on here and Google, no mention

Dunno, I guess to seperate my need from MUD Laughing Laughing Laughing

Neil, I live on a 1:10 hill, not much for a D3, but add compacted snow/ice and the odd road closed police sign, its nice to have a set that will leave the boyz in blue amazed...its two winters on the trot now, so gearing up.

Mac

Why not do the Zeon LTZ thing as they are chunkier and more suited to the conditions you want to have fun in - going for these for the winter set !!!!

Which Grabbers is he talking about Mac?

I live on a hill and actually had to tow a local police X-Trail up the hill back in February when we had a lot of snow.....he actually got stuck right outside my house as I was leaving for work. Funny as Censored Laughing Laughing

That was using AT2s and he was amazed at how little wheel spin I got dragged him up to the top Mr. Green

AT2 will win every time over LTZ in the snow.

There will be a new General AT available second week of Sept in 19" and 20"

AT2 as most know are available with correct load rating for 17" and 18" for D3

Still the best available at a good price, read the testimonials on my web site www.ajstyres.co.uk

Are the Scorpions any good in he winter, or do I really need to think about getting a winter set of wheels and tyres as well? Had no problems all year round in my Defender with BFG's on. Used to get more than 80,000 mles to a set as well!

cheers

and what's availability going to be like? Got the wheels lined up for a winter set (was thinking Vredesteins) but if the new ATs look to be good on snow then could be persuaded to go with these as they'd double up as off road tyres for the summer...
