Wow!! What a great towcar!!

Did my first tow with the D3 today, very impressed indeed!! No more struggles up the hills, stability was superb and bags of power. The only fly in the ointment was the on-dash trailer symbol, which flashed as it should when indicating, but stopped flashing at times. However I think I have it sussed, on the tintent is a LED high level brake light. It does appear the trailer symbol stops flashing after a couple of flashes when the brakes are applied. I guess the LED light is fooling the bulb failure system? Anyway I got SWMBO to check the indicators while I pressed the brake pedal, I got the thumbs up on that one!! I was showing 33.9MPG on the M20 at 60MPH, so reasonably pleased, mind you the tintent is only 1600kg. Thumbs Up

Glad you have overcome the dealer inflicted wiring cross patch. You can now safely stoke the boiler and set course 330 degrees.

Yep! they even made sure the reverse lights and beeper are off/muted on the D3 when connected up. Off to Ferry Meadows Caravan Club site at Peterborough next Wednesday for a 4 night break. Just hope the skipper doesn't want to go to periscope depth or crash dive on the way???? Laughing

I have a photo somewhere of a Land Rover 101" doing periscope depth. D3 can float or dive once only!

Reports from colleagues on the M1 this morning suggested a periscope might have come in handy...

Clever and very brave chaps them marines!!! We had some board HMS Churchill when it was dived at 35ft. They entered by an escape hatch, a lot of nerve that would have needed? Bow down Bow down Bow down
