Pulled in to a car park to today, turned off and removed the key and the engine was still running - very odd
I put the key back in, turned it through the accessory position into the normal running position, turned off slowing and it turned off as normal. working ok now, but who knows with these things, anyone else had similar? Formerly shiny moose

Sounds like your switch has got out of sync with the key or has lost drive to switch.

That's what I assumed - it's been ok today.
