...and there was me jealously watching you use that very finger to BBQ some steak you found at 1am in Cornwall; with hindsight that steak has seriously lost it's appeal
D4, I found this old Pirelli news article which mentions Quote:From the constructional point of view, the adoption of two steel belts with a double layer of zero degree nylon to produce a rigid belt composite should be emphasised, together with the latest Pirelli developments in carcass materials resulting in a robust dual ply polyester construction with substantial reinforcement in the bead and lower sidewall.
Looks like it was written by Bliars speechwriters, so no clue what that actually means; hope you fare better at understanding it! Dr. Ian Malcolm:
"Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
Transgenic tomato anyone?

ATR Side wall way way stronger than Generals offering the whole tyre is better unless you get wooed in by the AT2 looks but then again generals 19" won't look like an AT2
AT2 is a great tyre but know it's limits IMHO the ATR is the way to go in 17 18 or 19 (17 for FL2 peeps)

Thanks Ken, only recently realized atr's are available in 18" and wanted to quite BFg's fans with tech stuff, but no amount of tech info can substitute years of experience. I would also be interested in 18" ATr's Any reports on miles expected on ATR's vs AT2's vs Pirelli scorpions zero's?
