Here are some pictures to show those who are frightened to come to Drumclog that it is not all holes and mud!

Absolutely brilliant day yesterday, and not a mark on the D3! Have found the best protection avaialable is a Defender, picked it up on Saturday and went playing at Drumclog with Navigator, Alan and Stephen, although I did go off with a different group. These things just let you do so much more without worrying about the trees that are close or will I be brave enough to go there. The last few outings in the D3 I have trashed all the mudguards and almost hit the gearbox so is getting quite costly. Still keeping the D3 though as I do just love it, it may just do a little green laning now though

Most likely the GRR.
One really needs aggressive tyres for the Minard sections - and some are too narrow between trees for a D3. There will be plenty of folk willing to give you a run through in a smaller vehicle if you want to miss any particular bit.

It has been revealed that the GRR is going to Loch Lomond - not surprising as every second GRR they organise seems to be that route. Someone must like it a lot to keep going back, but I'd rather go somewhere I've not been to before.

Brian, the are in front of that hill and to the right, where you come out of the stream bed area was like ice yesterday. The recent rain has softend up the top couple of inches, it's hard packed below it and for every 6" forward we got we went 2ft to the side.
Dave came down the side of that hill and wasn't for even attempting it in the Deafener. ATB
