I think I'm right in saying that any one of us would have fell for the same scam.. you did everything in your power to check..

As a newbie here and just looking through, can I just add my sympathies to you for your loss. It's terrible and while it seems that you have resigned yourself to the pain and hurt (financially and mentally) I'm impressed with the moral high-ground position you have taken throughout the whole terrible episode, especially in the face of apparent inefficient and/or lethargic responses from the Police. I only hope that (God forbid) if such a thing were to happen to me I could act in a similar manner, you do yourself credit.
