2007 Defender

I know this is a Discovery 3 site but there appears to be general interest in all things Land Rover.

Just picked up today's issue of Autocar and there are leaked shots of the new 07 model year Defender.

Funny looking bulge on bonnet to accommodate the Transit diesel engine. New dash (vaguely like D3!!).

No picture of the forward facing rear seats.

There's a few pics around Martin put up recently

To be more accurate it's a new diesel engine that will also be fitted in Transits, so you could also say Transits will have Defender engines

Lets hope they've moved the bulkhead back a bit on the cab/commercial ones - had a 90 loaner when my D3 was in for a service (and a new compressor) and it was just as uncomfortable as my SII/III.

Thanks Slimer

Interesting comments that followed too. Have to agree the bonnet looks kack!

Couldn't work out if the windscreen was reduced in height?

It would seem a lot of commercial users are wary of the down size of the cc, especially those that tow very heavy loads, TD5s are v difficult to get apparently.
