Ministry of bad design - Brake line clips

After lubricating everything in sight under the middle rear seat to stop a rattle, I decided the noise must be coming from under the car. Sure enough I find a brake line is flapping about, obviously twanging the bottom of the car as it goes over a bump. There are two clips that I can see and the brake line had come out of both of them.

The clips they have used are a joke, I cant work out if something is missing or they have just weakened so much that they no can longer hold the brake line in place. I guess it is to be expected, they have lasted well into the 4th week and 600 miles of varied terrain from A roads to Motorways Rolling Eyes

I've put a couple of tye wraps around the clip, not super tight but just enough to hold the clip together so the tube doesnt pop out the second you hit a bump.

Is this a common problem? Any better ways to clip the lines in place ?
