Automatic height adjustment

I have taken the Disco 3 into very rough terrain in Africa. A significant problem, however, is the fact that the off-road height automatically selects to normal height when reaching 50kms / hr (what is the trigger point in miles for UK spec vehicles?). The problem is that in many instances, off-road terrain simply has a high "middle man" and one can drive 60, 70 or even 80 km/hr. NOT with the dear Discovery 3, you have to stay below 50 kms / hr (and a chime that constantly irritates you due to being above 40kms / hr but below the magic 50kms/hr). Failing which the car simply lowers resulting in much damage underneath as rocks, gravel, sand etc do their thing. Beware lifting the car back up to off-road level more than a hand full of times, the system shuts down, citing "over heating". This "feature" is a great pity, it simply renders the car very inadequate for fairly simple off road conditions in specific circumstances. Does anyone know how to bypass / override this auto height selection by the car's software?

Unfortunately, our Americanised / Litigious society seems to require LR to play too safe now with their hardware.

Apparently us mere customers are not capable of being sensible enough to realize that raising the suspension will result in a vehicle that will potentially roll if tyring to manoeuvre aorund corners or twisty roads too quickly Shocked

UK (miles / hr) height adjustment limits

By the way, the height adjustment in km as measurement unit kicks in at 50km/hr. The warning sounds from 40km/hr onwards. What is the limit in miles /hr when the suspension automaticallt drops from off-road to normal height?
