| After 3.5 years - I've found a new feature...... |
|
Well - the car continues to surprise with little things I didn't know existed. With the wiper control in 'off' flip down to give a single normal wipe. I'm sure you all new that. However I didn't realise that if you hold the control arm down you get instant 'high speed' wiping. Just the thing when suddenly hit by the wake from a passing vehicle or such like - Great idea. Is it in TFM? I haven't read about it there.
Another idea and feature.

Only on 07MY onwards or if you have updated the software. Before that you just get a nothing in memory message.

It is in mine; page 120, Washers and Wipers.
"Single wipe
Pull the lever down and release immediately.
Note: With the lever held down, the wipers will operate at fast speed until the lever is released."

one day I will read the manual... The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...
Club "yes, I too have had the EGR's replaced..."
Club "yes, I too have had the compressor replaced..."
Club "yes, I too once had the car at the dealer for a couple of weeks nearly 4 weeks over 4 weeks...5 weeks"
Club "yes, I too have had EPB failure..."
Club "yes, I too get mysterious bings and bongs..."

They obviously sussed you as a monoglot Englishman, not a sophisticated European like me. Every silver lining has a cloud
