I personally like siver...
But, I have to say I saw a White D4 near me & it looked great..
It did have everything including a very nice private plate.
I think for White to look good you have to go for the top spec..
With a nice set of wheels & the black windows.

Skep wrote:I'm disappointed! Just been to see a White D4 in Wakefield, it looked amazing as we approached and even better when we started to get closer, but on much closer inspection was when the disappointment set in! The colour is awesome but...... The vehicle is only a year old and the marks which stood out would bug me, small stone chips on the front bumper, marks round the door handles from fingers/rings etc, small scuff on the wheel arch!
When the car is 4 or 5 years old what's it going to look like! I'm unconvinced about White now, will keep looking though! I think with stornoway or Nara bronze the marks would still be there but get swallowed by the colour!
Stornoway grey is the colour. Had silver D3 which I liked, went to get D4 and was after the ipinima sand (if that is how it is spelt) but on arrival did not like that, then went after Bali Blue but could not get one in the time scale we wanted, ended up with the Stornoway and love it. MY12 D4 HSE

down here in london ,see loads of white 4x4,by that i mean land rovers, but they are all spotless, all the time, which means someone else cleans them,so white yes ,
if you have someone to clean it ,and you live down south ,far from mud and dirt, 2008 ,hse, it does what it says .

If I could afford a new D4 - it would be Fuji White, If I could get another colour quick due to a cancelation etc, I would still wait for Fuji white .
Was stuck near a Fuji RRS on the M5 last Saturday, it was being driven by a youth who I bet has an occupation that rhymes with feeler but all the same still wanted it.

had interesting chat with motologix about this the other day. They have only ever ordered one in white. They claim dealers will need a much larger depost for the car because of its colour since they are hard to shift if deal falls through. And their advice was not to order in this colour since it will effect resale value.
But I still love the colour

I would say that they are wrong. White is the new black, as black was the new silver a couple of years ago....for example, you don't see silver or black discos being avoided just because White is in. All those footballers and celebs cant be wrong. Now 10/12 years down the line may be different but otherwise, in my opinion only of course, White is here to stay!!!
...oh, and I know that LRs are holding their value well now, but the actual price difference thing would never really amount to that much in the scheme of things eh. What (if they were correct) real difference would a couple of thou make on £50k vehicle anyhow? Not a lot

For what its worth, I think white can look a bit chavvy or even poverty spec (white van man?) if the car isnt spec'd properly. If spec'd nicely I think it looks champion.
AND I had a white car a long time ago and it showed all the muck all the time...wouldnt have another.

I have a white commercial on order, i was going for red until i saw a white HSE in the local dealers and it was one of those moments you remember, it was going to be white from then on. the spec is important though as i feel it needs bright bits to be different from a 'white van' the black windows help as well. i have ordered the ext upgrade, bright rails, mirror caps and side protection tubes all to lift it. i have a black classic RR that looks great for only 5 mins on the road after a wash and a silver Citroen C5 in silver that now looks dated. White all the way!!
