LRO Show off-road course

Did the intermediate course at Malvern yesterday and I have to say I was very disappointed. I expected some really interesting sections especially as LRE had 'created' it but found it really dull. Just a basic forest track that was cutting up a bit and quite slippy in sections (glad I had AT's on) but there was no variety, no water, no axle twists etc.

Also spoilt for me by a moron in a RRC who thought the way to drive it was to leave a small gap then floor the accelerator (with front wheels at 45 degrees to the ruts) sending mud everywhere and his car writhing about like a demented eel, I reported him twice to the marshalls as he nearly slid into me several times but they just shrugged their shoulders Evil or Very Mad

Anyone try the 'extreme' route and if so was it any better?

Hopefully no-one on our sister site.
Is RRC a RR compact or just a C in an RRS? Wink

I thought the Adventure course was rather dull too. Yawn.

Pics from my trip round the in my gallery, not that exciting apart from watching people get stuck on the slope before the start point!
