I think the new style 1 has 5 double (replacing the 5 thick spokes) spokes and the new style 2 has 10 spokes (replacing the original 10 spokes) with what may be a lip on each side of the spoke. Overall it’s the same thing style 1 looks beefy and style 2 looks flash. I hope that helps.  Brute force and ignorance, the D3 does the rest.
