I,m not sure how many parts the door mirrors come in but can you buy just the upper part of the casing (the forward facing side)? if so anyone know how much? Are they easy to fit?
Thanks

Not in this case (but I have been).
I am looking to bring a sense of balance back to a Metropolis and need to know if it a simple and cheap job to swap the chrome mirror parts for ordinary parts.
If so there may be some "bright" parts going cheap!
The chrome parts are just stuck on over the top of the standard ones AFAIK. Don't know if they'll come off cleanly, take a look at the fitting instructions on the OwnerInfo site, that may reveal if they will or not
As you're removing all the Metropolis bits why don't you just by an HSE? The End

Have you got popups blocked? You need to allow them from the lr owner info site.
If not the "3 Get The Documents" Continue button may be hidden off the bottom of the screenSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Yes - it has worked now - thanks
Instructions show two handed use of mastic gun and lots of glue. I can only imagine they will be well knackered underneath.
Does anyone know if just the upper casing can be bought?
Regarding a HSE as an alternative - This may be the way I go, it's just the dealer has a Metropolis in stock.
