Just realised after driver a brand new loaner for 2 weeks, that the sinking seat problem on the S is still a problem !!
The loan car is so new it still has that new car smell ! ..............Somewhere in-between my old D3 and what's to come next .........

not on mine... they fixed it as per the TSB... lever is now very stiff and not affected my my backside sliding out of the seat on exit so much.
A bad design really... but not as bad now.

Should be... the S I had as a loaner recently was OK too. Maybe the one you drove slipped through the net ?

My new S doesn't seem to have the sinking problem - yet  but how on earth can I tell if it's going to be a problem without something to compare it with 
But I do have the tilting issue - where the seat tilts on the front edge rather than raising or lowering. You feel as if you're being thrown out of it if you "raise" it fully.
I remember seeing some posts where someone was getting theirs altered by LR tech, but I can't find them now. Anyone know if this has been addressed, and can I get a true height adjustment

Unless you radically modify the seat base and mechanism then you are stuck with the 'ejector seat'
Doesn't worry me as my seat position feels fine... depends on body shape I guess.
