Hi, just looking for a quick bit of advice if possible.
A friend of mine is trying to use his spare key for his D3, and it seems as if the battery in the keyfob has run down completely as the remote doesn't unlock the doors, and the engine seems to remain immobilised when he trys to start it.
Does anyone know what to do in this situation? Can you leave the key in the ignition for a few minutes for it to recharge enough, or does it need to go back to the dealers?
Thanks,

Yep, it should recharge if you leave it in the ignition for six minutes (with the ignition turned on) full details are in the book of words
