Mudflaps - not broken any of mine in this year's snow and do keep a load of road spray & muck off the car.
Heated steering wheel - Missed my deadline to order, but tbh never had one before so don't really know what I'm missing (and I have good gloves - £8 ).
SWMBO says "heated feckin steering wheel ???? ..................... thought Land Rovers were supposed to be driven by roughy toughy blokes"
I don't use the heated seats either even when it's minus 10 or worse so guess I'm just a naturally 'hot' kind of guy!
Oh, and I'd spec the privacy for sure!

I would strongly suggest getting the heated steering wheel
It costs at least twice as much (probably more) to add it later than getting it from new
It's the only thing I would like to have had (apart from a winch, RAI, bash plate, etc) on mine - but it was an ex demo - so you get what you get...............
Mudflaps are, in my view, essential - big long trails down the side of the car otherwise (very muddy around us)
Privacy glass - well, seems to be critical to people living in Surrey who like to think they're footballers (or footballers' wives) (ducks down into trench and jams on tin hat) 59 Disco 4 HSE

IMHO - Heated steering wheel is a good option to have for what it costs. I purchased the mud flaps form a site sponsor and fitted them my self in 30 mins. The labour saving (if the stealer had fitted them) paid for 50% of the heated steering wheel. Current:

heated steering wheel- definitely -
mud flaps? Had three d4's in my yard this weekend and they all had the same amount of mud/spray etc regardless of mud flaps. Not convinced worth adding. d4 HSE

Try and get her to drive a car with one, my wife hates the fact that my car has one and hers doesn't, to the extent that on very cold mornings she takes my car not her own because of it. I'm not as good as I once was........but I'm as good once as I ever was.

I had a heated steering wheel because I bought a car that had already been built. I thought that it would be a waste of time - but it really is a great feature.
I would not buy another Disco without it. Paul
