I agree, the LR dealerships say the D4 is a different beast fron the D3, but then they would, they are trying to sell. I've had both and they are basically the same. As others have said, Joe Public cant tell the difference and neither can I. Ignore the rear lights and front facia and steering wheel. It's an extravegence, nothing more, nothing less and the bottom will fall out of the market when we double dip and fuel rockets.

I've just part exchanged my hse for £43000 against a 4000 miles gt3 gen2. I've covered just over 29000 miles and the road tax is due at the end of this month plus anpther service at 32000 would of been needed.
When I take into account that I got a free first service when I bought the discovery It has simply been the cheapest vehicle I have ever run for a year. I got lucky!
I've got a BMW f11 2.0d 5 series due in a fortnight for work but I think I'll be back in the landrover fold soon most likey when it starts to get cold again.
P.s hope it doesn't snow anymore this year, or flood .......
