Tailgate has decided not to open with remote, and I know I can open with Open close on dashboard but when closed again it locks !!!???

does it open just by pressing the button on the handle ?
if so you probably just need to reprogramme the keyfob button
Starting with a locked car, press unlock twice (all doors unlocked) and then press the logo button and hold it whilst opening the tailgate. Duncan

I am using correct key fob (tried both) and the button on the handle does not respond ?

Looked at your answer again this morning and followed it correctly this time and it worked many thanks a great job (saved me a fortune ) back in love with my Disco again !!!
