what battery dimensions can be used on the D3/D4's secondary batterybox?
I might get a "cripplechair" gel-battery from my work if it can be used

guys, do you think there would be enough room for the National Lunar split charge system in the second batt box as well, or did you fit the split charge solenoid elsewhere. the NL system is about the size of the alarm sounder !!!
I still havnt decided whether to Put the battery in the engine bay or the boot. preference is for the engine bay as there is less wiring/hassle as long as the NL system will fit.. Duncan

You could probably squeeze it in with a little more giggling around of the components and putting the alarm sounder outside like I did.

it should be easier if I can work off yours as a template Duncan

what "Ah" are those. if they are the ones i am thinking about the D3/4 alternator would casue them to explode !! Duncan

Funnily enough I was about to suggest that or at least that the next time we meet up having a good look at mine. You about this coming weekend? We may be going to Makro's by Cribbs on one of the days - will give you a call if we do.
