| Audio & nav info on instrument TFT |

Does anybody have the track info and nav instructions on the instruments TFT display? I don't have and cannot find any settings for it on my 2011 MY with hi line audio and standard nav. This is shown on the 2010 MY dealer update info so may exist. Is it on the top level audio or nav?

it never happened. It appeared in mock up pictures early on but never materialised in real life. Its part of the reason you have this big gap in the TFT which only gets used when you use a special program (snow etc).

I think it will be available on MY2012. So possibly available for earlier models through a software upgrade?

+1 on this, I complained to my dealer about this, I had this function on older cars even.... And why doesn't the screen show song name and info when a cd is inserted? Even my 2007 volvo shows that info 
They could do so much more with the center screen too, like album art, .... 2010 LR4 Discovery 3.0TDV6 HSE Full Spec

I dont have nav installed but cd track info [scrollable] is shown on my tiny radio audio/clock screen, reads dot mpg file names ok.
Personal Telephone Integration System is installed and phonebook scrolls on this as well.
BTW the handbooks are all over the place - I'm supposed to pair bluetooth with # 2121 but the unit throws up a new random number whenever I pair a phone - I think you can have 5 at once, I'm using 2. +======

Was in my local dealers the other day and he showed me the 2012 pics & specs on his laptop.
It showed that the turn by turn graphic is displayed on the TFT screen.

I can confirm the above. It does show satnav directions on the TFT
I do get some audio info too although not in as much detail as I'd
like Media selection and that's about it. My 60 reg Mondeo had
a better set up on the TFT - IMHO this is not good enough on a
£50k car when the Mondeo is half the price and does have it.
Slightly off topic - Why can't you spec adaptive cruise control on
a D4 when it was an option on the Ford? I think the car is crying
out for it tbh but that just be because it makes things so much easier
for people like myself. MY2012 D4 HSE SDV6 in Baltic Blue, HK Pro7, Nav, Rear screens,"Vision pack", Homelink, Side Steps(Essential for me )

check my galerie, i retrofitted the sat nav system from scratch, installed an RRS display in my Disco 4 10MY and i do get all the information on the tft, as you can see in my galerie.
