Ordered mine 28th June and recently had info saying will be off the line by 9th September.
However my dealer did say if order not actually submitted to LR on 29th June then THEIR next delivery would not be before Oct/Nov. I think they are all very tight for build slots as the B dy thing is selling so well abroad that we at home don't get enough slots. If it don't fit the third time - try a bigger hammer

Dougie, Did you get a look at the self-erecting-gear-knob? If it don't fit the third time - try a bigger hammer

Sorry Dinsdale what I meant when I said someone was "getting close" was they would be pleased to see there vehicle, I am not sure they will be "excited" enough to show me there self-erecting-gear-knob.
After having bought a freelander last month, a Disco this month and my father having his eye on an Evoque if you wanted to see the dealers self-erecting-gear-knob I am sure he would only be tooooo happy to oblige
Interestingly enough I did see the self-erecting-gear-knob but it was in flaccid mode. I do have a picture if you are interested

Got mine on the 16th September but it was in the dealers on the 8th ( Took a week to get the hand controls fitted ) The Evoque launch apparantly slowed things up a bit according to the dealer.
Loving it so far and I think it was worth the wait
Just secured a set of the Landmark wheels for it (Cheers Discocuzzy !)but they might have to wait until after the winter before they go on
Hope you get them soon those who are still waiting - really impressed with it

If it helps, I'm averaging around the 26-30 mpg mark around town, depending on the journey and the best I've had on a run is 35.9
I can't complain at that

We certainly didn't buy a Disco for the fuel consumption but I'm still very impressed considering the weight/use etc.
I've done the school run for my neighbour a couple of times now and seen a 39mpg and a 41mpg but that was driving SUPER smoothly and gently.
My recent 1800 round trip tour of the Highlands returned an average of 31mpg. Well happy with that! MY2012 D4 HSE SDV6 in Baltic Blue, HK Pro7, Nav, Rear screens,"Vision pack", Homelink, Side Steps(Essential for me )
