Spoke to a LR assistance guy who recommend blanking mine with coins, as I still have a warranty on my D3?,
Would it void my warranty? 2005 D3 SE, Tonga Green

I think mine are playing up. Just wondering what are the symptoms and any issue with insurance?

Have just done mine this morning, under 2.5 hours to do.
Followed the BAS guide, no nasty problems at all, just a bit fiddly.
Removed the 2nd battery box lid and unclipped the side wall to help gain access, also removed the screw holding the air-con pipes to allow them to move a bit.
Used a wooden skewer in the top hole on the valves to help align the bottom blanks.
Took it for a test drive, and it did feel less laggy when pulling off. EGRs Blanked, ARB Bushes Done.

According to this thread on the RRS forum, EGR blanking plates can be fitted to post 07 TDV6 with no issue.

Has any one actually fitted blanking plates on later 2.7s and had issues or have we all been working on hearsay rather than facts?? I do not know.
