i have a landmark just been to dealer to get LED daytime put on and they said you can't as i have to have xenon lights is this right any one? 10 E350 Merc

you cant just switch on the LEDS ....the dipped beam comes on aswell with DRL G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

so i would need xeons to have this option? how much does it cost?just i read in the manual the dealer has to put this option on so when ignition on less come on? 10 E350 Merc

dosent matter what lights you have ...i can switch on DRL ( thats side lights and dipped beam ...or leds and dipped beam if there fitted )
you have 2 options
Canadian ...lights come on when in R, N , D ( and epb off ) ...not in park
scandanavian ....lights come on when ignition is on
i use canadian G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

Hey All
Another newby here, not just to the forum, but to owning a Disco too
Just upgraded to a Disco 4 from an Audi Q7; we went for the Orkney Grey Landmark Edition.
Now having been in the Audi for 2 years and owning the road with my ultra-bright LED DLR's, I'm only slightly disappointed that the Landmark doesn't have them enabled by default - and the tech guys at the dealer suggest that in this case they can't be enabled either.
I've read a few posts on here that Wiggs can sort this out; I would've PM'd you, but the rules on here state I can't do that until I've got 3 posts under my belt!

You cannot enable the LED's as DRL's independantly .. Wiggs or no Wiggs!!
However I'm going to have them looked at by an Auto Electrician to see if they can be wired that way.
Poss going to try InCarTech at Clifton Moor.

So lasttofindout hasn't had his enabled by wiggs then?!
That would be a real shame. I'd read reviews online before buying, saying it had Xenon's and reverse camera, etc... the disappointment is really starting to set in now...
