| One touch window stopped working |
|
After disconnecting and reconnecting the battery the D4 driver's window operates only in standard (not one-touch-full-down/up) mode.
Any ideas?
Battery disconnected properly after all 120s/lights out ...
Is it another re-calibration problem?
Thanks! D3 LE James Cook, 2,7 TDV6 auto

Nope. That does not work. Aparently, I have discovered that only the passenger's window works correctly. All the other three share the same problem. Auto window down works, up does not. D3 LE James Cook, 2,7 TDV6 auto

It's definietly a case that after you'll need to recalibrate them. I have had the same in the past and was told how to do it by the YLR service manager. I then put the destructions on here somewhere - just do a quick search and you should find the exact details.
edit:
Found it in the manual: Get the window to the fully up position and then reset / re-calibrate one touch by holding the switch in the up position for a couple of seconds, or similar words

Sorted. You were right. It needs only a short press and hold when up and probably not on the full press of the switch, but only the "temp" position.
But OMG, do I need to do all this whenever disconnecting the battery?
Thanks guys! D3 LE James Cook, 2,7 TDV6 auto
