bloody hell that is seriously bad luck
hindsight is a wonderful thing but ive got to say your story is a reason i would avoid all the supermarket style big outlets like the plague for any car.
Particularly with a beast as complicated as the D3 always go with a good indy LR specialist or main dealer if youve got the cash
In my experience they hide a very high proportion of duds in these type places and use some high pressure sales tactics to get you to buy.
its your car if youve got the sales invoice or V5 so not an assett to be realised by the administrator once this is proved there will be no problem
administrators are well regulated and only apply the letter of the law re assetts and ownership it just can be frustrating time wise
Get your car back and post a request on the forum for recomendations of a good indy in your area.
get a "proper" check over and once you know what your dealing with plan your moves from there it may not be as bad as you think and the fear of the unknown will only add to what must have been a very stressful few days.
loads of good advice on here so keep posting for experienced answers
good luck

One thing to bear in mind is how the car was financed, if through hp or pcp, if you find the car has not been repaired to an acceptable standard then you can reject through the finance co... Worth looking into If it ain't broke... Take it apart anyway, how else you gonna find out how it works
