| MY 2012 - Observations / Dislikes |
|
After 2 years with the 4 XS, I have had the MY12 HSE for two weeks - generally love it but:
What a joke those paddles are - forever cattching my fingers when turning etc - really cant see this is progress.
More worrying - I towed our tri axle horse trailer loaded (2 horses) yesterday and was very disapointed - as suspected forever changing gears and not using the massive tourque, any one similar expieriences? No where near as good as the 4 with the 6 speed box me thinks.(I know it needs to learn but has 600 miles on clock)
I have noticed it bogging down in low speed bends when I drop my foot on it (solo) it seems to take a second to sort the right gear - the old one was much sharper. - feels like two many gears not been selected well?
My dealers Hunters will look at it next week - but is this progress I dont know.
Great deal on the HSE - 10% - (5% NFU + 5% negotiated) - very pleased.
Glad to be back!

Sounds like LR may have 'over egged the pudding'!
Hopefully the gearbox will calm down after a few more miles.
