| How do I tell if my D4 is MY 11 or MY 12 before I pick up? |

G'day, I'm in my D3 for the last days (or so I thought) as my D4 has arrived at the dealer.
Can somebody tell me how to identify an MY12 as opposed to an MY11 on the SL AAAA ... code please?
On the sale note it says D4 MY11 ... I orered an MY12 and have waited 4 months to get it ...
VIN: SALLAAAF3CAxxxxxx is the number provided.

Please let me know - it may all be in vain and I'll be happy again .... !

Oh - specs are D4 HSE 3.0 Alpine roof, cooler box, big sound, electric diff.

Auto I assume.
Easy, if it's got a gear lever it's MY11, if it has a pop-up selector knob it's MY12.

I'll have to get onto the web to check teh difference myself ... I haven't seen the car as yet, but it's here. I'm guessing LR will have the correct snaps on the net.

pop up gear selector was not planned for Oz so soon
could still be six speed

Pop up wasn't on the option sheet ...
I probably would prefer the gear lever anyway.
It's more the VIN or Chassis serial # I'm trying to check if MY12 ... so the dealer doesn't try to put one over me.
