| dipping mirrors in reverse |

Does anyone know how to reset the door mirrors when reverse is selected as i find the factory setting or the last owner was obviously a short arse and i'm finding myself sliding down in the seat to enable me to see anything of use? just got the D3 and therefore havent read the manual yet?

Saved with your seating memory if I remember correctly.
Select reverse, adjust mirror and save with the memory buttons on your seat (think you hold down the relevant number a few seconds)...
Oh and RTFM!

It can either be set to the individual key (see lazy entry in your manual) or you can set the seat / mirrors / auto dip on reverse etc to how you want them, then press the store button on the seat and within 5 seconds press one of the memory buttons. You should hear a beep and a message on the central dash will say memory # stored.
However, if you have lazy entry set then the settings in the memory buttons on the seat will be overrode and the settings saved on the key will take precedence. Disco 3 TDV6 SE, black, de-badged, blacked out windows, cream leather interior, never seen a dirt track in its life.

from memory
first you need to set the memory seat position up - just get seat and mirror in normal mode where you want it and press MEM then and a number
-memory x stored
- i recommend doing all 3 memories otherwise you can get odd things happening when mirrors return after reverse dip
then press your seat memory button, then put into reverse. adjust mirrors after they dip where you want them to go - then just press MEM and number - new message is mirror position stored or something like that
back to park

I also find that I have to let the car go to sleep before it actually uses the new reverse position - right pain in the Mark.
