Hello! Very new to the website and I also have just bought an 05 HSE. It has the phone buttons on the steering wheel as well. I cant find any instructions to pair my phone though, was wondering if anybody could give me a couple of quick pointers on how to pair my phone. In the centre console above the fridge i have some sort of a connector too. Not sure if that makes a difference.
Thank you very much!

get your phone to search for devices. You should find either LAND ROVER or Handsfree
Enter code 2121 (assuming its factory fit) or 0000 if retro dealer fit.
if it's 2121 and you have a newer phone, it won't show phone contacts on your radio and it may lose connection with the phone each time to re-start.
you can get the software updated by post (exchange module) here...

Joobs, the cubby box connector takes a Nokia CR-3 phone cradle and a compatible Nokia phone. Once you're plugged up with these items you should be able to get your handsfree working through the Nokia phone.
Contacts will appear on your radio headunit and you can also use a combination of the radio and steering wheel buttons to make and receive calls.
The Nokia cradles are becoming increasingly more difficult to get hold of as time passes and the prices vary wildly. You may get lucky and pick a cheapish one up on the forum or E-Bay but it's doubtful your LR dealer will have one and if they do it'll cost you an eye watering £150+. Expect to pay less than £50 from the forum or E-Bay.
Compatible Nokia phones are: Models: 3100, 6100, 6220, 6230, 6230i, 6610, 6610i, 6820, 6822, 7210, 7250.
