supplied genuine parts are two years...I know because I had mine swapped as ot was one a dubious batch ....have Disco3 HSE TD6 Auto...winter mobile
....also Jag XK......the economy 5.0 litre one...I'm REALLY smitten with this
....& have a Freelander 2 SE Auto...realistic runabout....

Ok,
New alternator and fitting......=£500
New battery........................=£90
New Brake light Bulbs from LR.=£11
The look on my face when with all this together i still get the faults when starting.........

I think i only have the Brake pedal switch to replace and i will have exhausted all theories unless someone can come up with another?

At the time it was undrivable so a 2 hour drive to Strathearn was out of the question or it would have been up there and cheaper,they also had to replace the tensioner pulley.
