40mm test plug plus rubber strip for seal.
You don't have to hold the plug in then:D
Available from plumbers suplies.
50mm is too large and there is no 45mm hense need for rubber sleave.

Great Idea, here is a picture of Slimers leg. The bung slipped out and the exhaust gasses covered him  and blew one of his trouser legs off
