When the engine is at idle it sounds like a set of high pitched bells ringing, under load it decreases so mainly at idle. Not the best description but I am told its nothing unusual? It a 2005 Se with 103k, runs great generally speaking, cambelt replaced at 100k.

Could be the compressor for the air suspension. If this is running constantly, I would get it checked out. TDV6 S Auto, Cairns Blue, Very Happy Indie who keeps it running
...oh, and a Mini Cooper S for the mid-life crisis
and an Orange EVO8 for the weekend, sir - the best 2x1 ba gum
