Does anyone know if the FBH from a Disco 4 will fit a Disco 3, ie is it a straight forward replacement?
I ask as I do not have a FBH fitted to my car and would like to retro fit one along with the BAS kit. A trespasser from the dark side

In UK - T*y**a - Typical Jap C**p, but reliable.

Doesn't the D4 opperate using someting other than can-bus?
ISTR that the D4 steering wheel upgrade that Pete Bell was looking at ran into this as an issue, so the FBH would also require a differant signal code i guess? D4 FBH speaks with a different CAN dialect to the D3 one - has been discussed recently: http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic73397.h...Bd4+%2Bfbh 06 D3 SE / 04 Mini JCW / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Thanks for the info, I asked as I had found a D4 unit on flee-bay, anyway, guess it's back to looking for a D3 set up. A trespasser from the dark side

Thats not to say its impossible i guess, but may need a controller to interperate the signals?
would be worth a conversation with Pete i guess? D3 TDV6 "S", Zambezi Silver, 7 Seats, Dual Climate, Heated F&R Seats & Screen, Fog's, Auto lights & Wipers, SAT NAV, Harmon Kardon, Cruise, Tinted Windows, Side steps, Roof Rails.

I would go to Pete, however the one problem is that the car is in Spain, so I want to try and get hold of a unit that is a simple straight forward fit, FBH + Pump + hoses etc. A trespasser from the dark side
