LR015089 - will it fit a disco 3

Morning all,

Can anyone advise if the air compressor part number LR015089 will fit a disco 3?? The unit looks exactly the same as the existing one apart from one of the 2 push fits on the inlet valve having a nut in it which looks like its made of little gold ball bearings????

Any help? Whistle

It will physically fit, but will cause issues down the line when the brass silencer gets blocked.

Unfortunately, you can't even remove it, as it is threaded in, whereas for a disco 3 you need it with the quick release collar

One from a range rover sport will fit however Thumbs Up

Cheers Guys. Knights Templar tipped me off about it being for sale so rung the guy selling it who said he'd bought it for his Disco3, which he doesn't have and has never had (another story,) but there was no part numbers on the unit (were clear as day on the box when I opened it!). Gave it a try as dont have the £300 for the new one at the minute and have agreed to send back for a refund if it was not right, which is clear now that it isn't. Big Cry
