Well it is all there now, should save some people having to search about, I don't go off road so no issue for me, but if I did I would ask in more detail about that. It can be used to check against other policies and a choice can be made depending on your wants and needs
At least their document is laid out clearly for all to see

LT wrote:No more Warranty at all for me after April. Unless someone here knows different, I can't find any warranty co. that will take a vehicle over 120k miles and 6 years old.
Seems Warranty Direct will cover you with their Luxury care subject to 50% contribution as stated in the document for being over 100k miles and up to 10yrs old vehicle

not having a good time with warranty direct at the moment got a claim ongoing with swmbos astra for a dual mass flywheel and they are trying it on because on the invoice for the last service they have not stated the miles they have however been writen in the service book and dealers stamp added to that of which they had a copy
just trying it on in my opinion and they will pay also they are going to pay for the clutch that was fitted at the same time although they recon its not covered i will make sure they pay it has been retained as evidence there is no significant wear to the plate but the release bearing and presure plate are not in good shape due to being smashed into each other through faliure of an insured part

Sorry Bruce, meant to say thanks but read email on phone so forgot by time any where near a laptop again, still waiting for a call this morning. Graham is off on long term sick.
What i hate, and to be honest, never had to do at Huddersfield before, is to tell them what to look for. I am still reeling over the wooshing noise and FBH statement. When i called it a webasto, he didnt even know what i was referring to. I hope they read this and realise what level of customer service they are offering.
Ps, does anyone have the answer that when they installed new pads and disks that the EPB should have been checked and adjusted prior to sale

When rears are changed there is a procdure to follow to get EPB set back to where it should be....Rocar should know this...if you get this wrong I beleive you get a warning light or a EPB that doent work.
I had my rear discs pads done by a non - LR place by choice...not to get a low cost task done but to get an opinion on my vehicle. Brakes & other bits I have concerns with...all listed in my mail to you.
The EPB was set to where it should have been....this proved to be correct as I had my MOT done (in Northern Ireland - far more discriminating test btw). ....have Disco3 HSE TD6 Auto...winter mobile
....also Jag XK......the economy 5.0 litre one...I'm REALLY smitten with this
....& have a Freelander 2 SE Auto...realistic runabout....
