| Seats move with acceleration & deceleration |
|
Hi Everyone. Having only recently picked up my 2009 D3 HSE here in sunny old Dubai I seem to now have an issue with the drivers seat and the passenger seat moving slightly under acceleration & deceleration. I've tried lowering the seat to the lowest postion and also backwards and forwards slightly to find a spot to which it stops moving when giving it a bit of right foot action.
Someone on this forum must have had this issue so thought it my first port of call. Cheers
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, use the search option and type in +rocking +seat and you will get all the info you need. Its a known issue, and there is a fix. Land Rover issued a tech service bulletin about the issue a while ago now. Club 18 - 30 (I wish !!)

Thanks Gareth, I'll contact the dealer and see what I can find out from them too.
Cheers

I had this problem on an 08 HSE. Dealer changed the seat frame. It is I believe a known issue.
