before I call JLR on monday, a few questions re the complementary Land Rover Experience...
1) Are you able to upgrade from the half day to the full day, and if so, is it just the differential in price you need to cover?
2) What sort of time does the day tend to start and finish (so I can plan travel)
3) does anyone know why Solihull is not on the list of experiences that offer the complimentary service (as I wanted to tie it into a factory trip and see my son at university!)
4) Do you get a choice of car to drive?
5) if it was a choice of solihull and Eastnor, which venue and why?
cheers

Done Eastnor several times now. Friends have done other sites but it seems that original is best.
It’s quite a comprehensive half day with driving time for three people. If you are going on your own a whole day might be too long.
Nice pub for lateish lunch not far away as well.
Enjoy it.
Really friendly and welcoming there too.

1. Yes about £250.00 to upgrade to a full day.
2. Full day 0900 - 1600, half day 0900 - 1200 or 1300 to 1600.
3. Solihull and Halewood are both excluded from the complimentary offer.
4. Any car you like and if doing a full day you can choose different cars am and pm if you wish.
5. Eastnor as you can't book Solihull but also don't rule out Rockingham (East of England) which is only an hours drive from Solihull.
There is currently quite a long lead time at most of the Centres due to high demand. Eastnor books very quickly and most Centres have limited or no availability between now and the New Year.

I have just booked my free half day experience. Tried to get Eastnor but its booked up till April or May next year. So I have chosen the site near Tarporley for the beginning of November and I have chosen a Discovery as our vehicle. Has anyone else been there?

in the end, I've managed to get a cancellation at Eastnor for 15th November (otherwise they weren't booking anything until May 2018 )...
Oh, and I'll be driving a defender!

Off tomorrow to Pickerton for our free half day. Had a phone call yesterday to say they are having problems with the Discovery and would we mind if we drove their Range Rover sport instead, Such is life.

Oh, and I'll be driving a defender!
Defenders are indeed great ... but...a Discovery can do the same or even more... .. but in total comfort! a 1/2 day in a Defender will most likely be more than enough your arms and butt cheeks will be telling you the same
Well, it was that or an Evoque.... So I thought I'd go with the classic whilst they still have them on!!
Its a shame that none of the sites are now running with the D4 though... but I did the off road trail in mine at the LR Beaulieu event, so know its a highly capable vehicle.
