EPB - Error code C1A43-01 Motor supply circuit

I've got the message "Park Brake Fault" appearing on the message console together with a solid amber EPB light plus flashing red EPB light

Reading the fault codes for the EPB module gives C1A43-01 "Motor supply circuit"

The EPB has NOT jammed on and the emergency release cable has NOT been pulled.

Reading through various posts it's suggested corrosion in the wiring might be responsible. I've had a quick look at the connection that plugs into the EPB module but could see no corrosion.

Can anyone help by pointing me to any other connections that should be checked?

Disco_Mikey posted to check the voltage on the green/yellow wire - presumably the one in the EPB module connector. My multimeter probes are too thick to fit into the connector - how have others got round this?

Also is this circuit always "live" - as some people suggest - or does the ignition need to be on?

Or if it's not a corrosion issue what else should be checked?

Many thanks

SB
