Torque Tronix ~ Remap
Just wondering if anyone has any info on the Torque Tronix custom remap, spoke to the N.I Dealer and they are quoting gains of up to 230bhp and 530torque.. does this see about right. Current Price I am getting quoted is £230incl VAT which seem good value compared to other remaps which have been quoting £500 locally.
Can anyone shed any light on the Torque Tronix remap
Never heard of it here, but I'd say that torque figure sounds a bit on the optimistic side to say the least....... The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

Could it be a re-map under a different name?

Superchips remap gives 525Nm so would be interesting to see what TT/JE/BAS etc give to see how wide of/close to the mark that figure is I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

I was thinking in old money. I assumed he was talking 530 lb/ft which would have been excessive. Must be NM which, at 530 is perfectly fair.

Those figures are within 1-2 Nm or my figures so i think they are realistic eniough.
Is your car under warranty ?
Will you ever need to return your car to standard for dealer visits ?

No Pete, warrenty expired a little while ago, currenty reading up on the threads on the Tescos Warrenty
Spoke to the guys at Torque-Tronix again and they have assured me that should in the rare instance the dealer wipe the remap they will reinstall it FOC. Also told me that the remap will be specific to my vehicle and not a generic one
Currenty waiting on one of the indi dealers to come back to me they have fitted these to their own stock but just want to get their feedback.
