Touchscreen Satnav - switch off speed lockout?

Can you switch off the speed-related function lock?

I was driving yesterday and wifey was trying to enter a destination, but we couldn't. Seems stupid to have to pull over to allow that to happen? Confused

Sat-nav on the move came as standard from 2007 onwards. Someone like Wiggs on the forum could enable it for you though using computerickery Thumbs Up

You can use the diagnostic mode to enter on the move - you'll find it on here if you do a search for sat nav and diagnostic.

Wiggs can do Sat Nav on the move, but I think it takes a long time.

Unless you've upgraded your disk to a fairly recent one, then 1791 doesn't work!

DSL - someone prior to us must have updated it then, 'cos I'm delighted to say that both 753 and 1791 worked. 8)

Thanks all. Mr. Green
