Tow Bar Mounted Vice

Being a mobile service engineer , it can be a pain without a vice sometimes .

So i have purchased a Vice-Rak http://www.bak-rak.com/vice-rak.htm from a company called Bak-Rak http://www.bak-rak.com/.

Very good piece of equiptment with a clever mount that fits over a tow bar and turn's the ball into a square allowing you to fit a multitude of things on your tow bar ...including winches , bike racks , wheelchairs ,boxes and many many more !!!

I have fitted a vice from Machine Mart ...its a clarke 4" swivel base (although i have removed the swivel part at the moment ) for £11.99 + vat (part number CVR100)

Just thought i would share this info in case any one is ever in the need for a vice while out and about ...or even parked on your driveway for that matter ..

Its also lockable , but i intend only puting mine on when needed ..

The whole thing is very secure and dosen't move about Very Happy

Top marks Bak-Rak for a very clever bit of kit Thumbs Up

"The kit price is £435 + VAT. This doesn't include the Winch itself. The commonly used winch is the Warn XP9.5 winch which i can do for £700 + VAT fitting would be £300 + VAT. "

I had this from JJ when I was having a mad moment considering the hidden winch myself a while back Wiggs?

Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter they are the Matzker plates from Germany so that means expensive straight away Rolling Eyes quite a lot of places like David Bowyer do generic winch mounting plates (one that fit's on your bakrak thingy BTW) that I'm sure could be modded to suit though.

I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
