Tow hitch

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get a NATO tow hitch for my disco 3 or better still somewhere that fits them around the Manchester area?

Brought one of these last week from John craddock

Next day delivery included £65.
They do nato style copies and nato hitches too both new.

As for fitting on a d3 I can’t help you as it’s gone on my defender.

Lanrover fixed tow bar with something like a Dixon bate drop plate and a NATO hitch

Check eBay for bits

Or RLD ( uncle ray ) forum member makes these adapters

just remember that the NATO hitch is not type approved so towing with one could get you a fine and if involved in an accident while towing your insurance co could drop you like a brick. The hitch itself is to be type approved for the towbar fitted to the vehicle (which itself has to be type approved on a vehicle registered after 1998)
