I've got 5 ton rated (and marked) shackles. They must be 3 times the size of the ones in the picture. Disco 5 HSE Lux

I bought a 4 tonne one at an Agricultural Show near me yesterday - shackles are much bigger than that first photo Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

I've just noticed today that the shackles I have do have writing on them! They are 2.5t.

the shackles have a fator of 5 : 1
5 x 2.5 = 12.5 tons Max braking load..
